Haley's Boat Fieldtrip

On Friday I volunteered to help out with Haley's class fieldtrip. We got to ride on a board that was called a floating labatory. We put out a net, and all the kids helped pull it up. Haley was the "stuffer", so she stuffed the net into a container (which was not as easy as it sounds). Then the kids got to be scientist and investigate what they caught. They actually pulled up a huge sting ray, and it was a big drama there was a little bit. until they threw it overboard. The sting ray killed most of the stuff they caught, but not the lobster. That thing was pretty big and I told Haley I would give her a quarter if she touched it. She waited until they lady pulled it out and then touched it's antanea, which I think is cheating, but I gave her the quarter anyway.

Ok, I finally posted all the pictures. Plus two videos. Here are all the pictures of us with my side of the family and a video of greg dancing to the music from Haley's high school musical game. My camera doesn't have any sound so you cant hear the music, but he was really getting his groove on there for a second. The other video is of everyone playing rockband. It is my favorite, because Chris is helping Greg do the drums. Haley is also sick so she is coughing, a lot (poor Haley). So anyway, there is a total of three posts. This one, one of chris's side, and then the one of us at the grand canyon. I hope everyone had a great christmas, and thanks again for everyone making our christmas so great.

Christmas with Daddy's side

So here are the pics of our christmas trip to Utah. I divided the pictures up a bit, because there was so much family to see. So here are the pics of Chris's side, and I am going to post a seperate one of my side. I also have another post of the pictures of when we went to the grand canyon. Thanks so much to everyone for putting up with us and letting us stay. We really had a great time. It was so great to see everyone, and the kids loved getting to play with all their cousins.

Grand Canyon

Here is our trip to the grand canyon on the way to Utah.. We got a really late start, so we didn't get to the hotel until 5 in the morning. So the poor kids feel asleep to California weather, and woke up to snow and zero degree temperatures. Who knew that it got so cold in Arizona? So needles to say, it was a short trip.
