Haley got a camera for christmas, so I helped her start her own blog today, so she could share all her new pics with everyone. She also made a list of all her favorite books to share with everyone, in case anyone is looking for some new books to read. For you or the kidos.

Christmas 2009

Here is the pics from our christmas. Those of you that don't know yet, Chris has been sent to Japan for a year. He leaves on Jan. 2. But he was able to take some leave and come and have a nice christmas with us. Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas.

Haley's Birthday

Here is some pics from Haley's Birthday. Haley is 12 now. I know. I can't believe it either. She just started young women and is loving it. One more year until Haley is a moody teenager. Yikes! J/k, Haley. We love ya, even if you are moody. We decided to make gingerbread houses instead of a cake, so here is some pics of us attemping that. As you can see, they didn't turn out so well, but we had a good time.

Haley turn to go to New Moon. FINALLY!

My sis took my mom and I to New Moon for our birthdays, but Haley was super sad that she didn't get to go. So when my dad came in for thanksgiving, he took Ben and Greg to the chirstmas carol, so I could FINALLY take Haley and John to New Moon. Sorry it took so long Haley. My dad also took us to eat at soup plantation after, which is one of favorite plasses to eat.

Girl's Weekend

Here is some pic's from our Girl's weekend. My mom took Haley and I to Marry Poppins for our birthday's. We loved it. The songs were great and it was awesome when Marry Poppins went all the way up through the ceiling. Then My sis took me and my mom to new moon. Nice to hang out with the girl's.

John's soccer game

Here is some pics from John's one and only soccer game. The school did a soccer program through think together (which is an after school program). They was like 250 kids that tried out and then only 16 boys made it. They also had a seperate team for girls. Then they practiced really hard for about 2 weeks and they competed with 7 other school. John's team came in 3rd, which isn't too bad. Way to go John!

Hey, everybody. Long time no blog. Hope all is well with everyone, since I haven't been on here in a while, but I hope to get on here soon and catch up on what everyone has been up too. Here is some picks of Greg first day of kindergarten and everyone's first day back. Everyones birthday's are coming up, or already have, so I will try and post all the pics here soon.

So, Greg was so excited to start school and be at the same school as everyone else. Yes, everyone is at the same school. All four of them. But what greg was most excited about, was his new spiderman lunch box. Well, and the fact that he could bring his own lunch to school. It is all he talked about. And all he asked me about from the minute we woke up that morning. But once we got to school, and he saw all the people, and I walked him to class, he started to change his mind a bit. Got a little nervious. Mom cried on the way out too, but we all made it, and it tunred out to be a good experinece for all. When I came to pick him up, he was a little overwhelmed. mom- How was your day? Greg- huuuuh...Good. Mom- What did you do? Greg- A lot. I don't want to talk about. He couldn't remember his teacher's name. He made a friend, but couldn't remember her name either, but it has been a couple weeks now, and it all has seemed to work out. He even got to get something out the treasure box on friday for good behavior. Way to go Greg! Knew you could do it.

Memorial day/ Belated birthday for Chris

So here is the pics from memorial day weekend and the belated birthday we did for Chris before he had to leave. We are hoping he will be back in time to carve pumpkins with us, but you never know. Hope everyone had a good one too.

Mother's Day/ Early Father's Day

Since Chris well be leaving on cruise in a few weeks we decided to do a Father's day/ Mother's day weekend. Saturday was dad's day. He got breakfast in bed and then presents. Ben got him all the x-men movies and we had a marathon and watched them all. Then we took dad to the new wolverine movie.

Sunday was mother's day, so I got the breakfast in bed and presents too. I got the wii fit which I am very excited about. It hasn't said the nicest things about me, which the kids won't let me forget, but I am sure it will be good for me in the end. Happy mother's day everyone, you are all great mom's. A specials congrads to all the moms expecting or who had new babies.

Ben got a cd player and Haley got a muscial card promising a new dance dance revolution pad that was coming in the mail. Greg is dancing to the card. Celebrate good times.....come on.

A family that plays together, sometimes has to sing and dance.

So it is the 50th Anniversay of our stake, and some how, we got talked into all being in this play they planned to celebrate it. Originally, I signed Haley up for it. We all know that Haley loves to be in the spot light, but it tured out that they wanted whole families. So we were all in it, including little Greg. Unfortunatly, I was in it the most, because they needed women for the dance part. Let's just say that I do not like the spot light, and I was not meant to sing and dance with a broom, but after all was said and done, we all had fun. We were in the part were they were showing how they built the stake center. The song was "I am getting married in the morning" with different word, of course. So we are suppost to look like it is the 50's. In the finale, the kids all had flash lights that they were suppost to shine up on the celing. Greg kept rubbing on my face during the finale, and so he got this red lip stick they put one me all over his eye. Then when we were all done the kids came home and played night games outside with their flashlights.

Disneyland for the grown ups

Chris took 2 weeks of leave before he has to go out on the boat again. We took a weekend for the grown ups and went to disneyland and california adventure. The kids have been the last 2 years, so now it was our turn. We had a lot of fun, and it was a nice break from the kidos. Chris is off to Utah now, and is talking to recruiters and hoping to get a job. Things have changed, and if all works out as he hopes, he wants to apply to get out of the navy early. When he gets home from cruise. He hopes to come back in October, and get out in November. He has a new comanding officer, and he is not going to make him go to Japan, which we are very happy about. Chris has been pretty stressed about it all, but things seem to be going better, so cross your fingers for us.

Spring Break/ Easter

Dad came and we went to the aquarium and we went to my sisters for Easter. We did a lot of spring cleaning, but we did manage to go out and have some fun the last couple of day of spring Break. Hope everyone had a good one too.
